Mike has been with the Central Florida Kraze organization from day one and brings a passion and enthusiasm that makes him a perfect fit to be the organizer behind the scenes. He is entering his third year as a Kraze Assistant Coach and will also continue to work for the franchise in an administrative setting.
Mike attended Winter Park High School were he lead the team to three consecutive Conference, District, and DistrictTournament Titles. He recorded 57 goals and 42 assists on his way to being named to All-County (3x), All-District (3x), All-Central Florida (2x), FHSAA All-State (2x) and NSCAA All-South Teams as well as earning the teams Most Valuable Player award as a senior. Mike then attended Brevard Junior College in North Carolina for two years were he was named to the All-Region (2x) All-State (2x) and NJCAA All-South Teams as well as being named Team Captain and the teams Most Valuable Player his sophomore season. Mike then transferred to Queens College (NC) for a season after which he returned back to his hometown were he finished his collegiate career at the University of Central Florida. After college Mike signed with the local professional squad, the Orlando Lions (USISL), were he played for eight seasons. He continued his playing with the Orlando Lionhearts (USISL) and finished his career as a member of the very first Central Florida Kraze team in 1999.
Mike began his coaching career at Winter Park High School in 1993 as a Boys Varsity Assistant before moving on to both Edgewater High School and Winter Springs High School. He is currently the Head Varsity Coach for both the Boy’s & Girl’s Soccer Programs at The Geneva School in Winter Park. Mike holds a USSF "D" License and is a premier coach with the Central Florida United Soccer Club.
